Ashley Plummer, PT, DPT, PCS

Ashley Plummer is a licensed physical therapist and board certified clinical specialist in pediatric physical therapy. She has been practicing in the Jacksonville area for the past 13 years. She graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University in 2010. She started her career at Brooks Rehabilitation working on the inpatient rehabilitation brain injury and pediatric unit. In 2013, she transitioned to Wolfson Children’s Hospital where she worked with children throughout all phases of rehab from acute care to outpatient, and also provided specialized aquatic therapy services. Throughout the past 4 years, Ashley has worked extensively in early intervention with the 0-3 year old population through the local Early Steps program. In 2023, Ashley launched her own small business, Jax Kids Aquatics, after recognizing the lack of aquatic therapy services specifically catered to children in her local community. 

Outside of the pool, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Daniel, whom she met in PT school, and their two daughters. She was raised in Southwest Florida, but has called Jacksonville home since 2010. She is passionate about all things local and loves cheering on the Florida Gators and the Jacksonville Jaguars on game day. She enjoys traveling and exploring new parts of the world. Ashley has organized and led several medical mission trips to Haiti, Romania, and Mexico, providing physical therapy services to those in need.
